Once you've finished downloading PowerPoint to your computer, it's time to take action and make the most of this program. To help you make a PowerPoint presentation, I will explain what the main features of this program are and how to use them.

Once you have inserted an element to your presentation, you can position it within the slide using the mouse and, in addition, you can customize it to your liking by clicking on it and using the options and buttons that you can display in a dedicated tab of the bar PowerPoint tools (top).
If you wish, you can bring your presentation slides to life and make them more engaging using animations. To do this, select any element in your presentation, click on the tab Animations and choose an animation from those available. You can animate writings, images, shapes and practically any element present in the slides. And I'll tell you more: you can customize the animation settings by configuring their duration, sounds, direction of movement and much more. All you have to do is select an animated element and use the commands in the right sidebar.
Want to change the look of your presentation in just a few clicks? If so, click on the tab Design, select one of the available styles. In this way the graphic style of the presentation will change instantly. If, on the other hand, you want to change the size of the various slides, click on the button Slide size and set the presentation aspect ratio by choosing, for example, the format 4:3 o 16:9; or you can set the background format by clicking on the appropriate button located at the top right.
As soon as you have finished editing the initial slide, add a new slide by clicking on the tab Inserisci PowerPoint by clicking the option New slide and following the instructions I gave you just now to add effects, animations and other elements to your PowerPoint presentation.
Then, if you wish, add a transition between one slide and another by selecting a slide in the left menu (the perimeter of the slide must be colored orange), clicking on the tab Transitions and choosing a transition from those available.
When finished, click on the button Fillet, select the option Save with name present in the menu that opens and choose both the name to assign to the presentation and the format in which you want to save it. Did you see that it wasn't that difficult to create a PowerPoint presentation on a computer?

However, users who do not have an active Office 365 plan cannot use all the features included in PowerPoint (adding custom effects and colors to shapes, adding styles to images, etc.).
Please note: you can download and use PowerPoint on your device for free, as long as your device has a size not exceeding 10.1 inches. After this limit, an Office 365 subscription is always required.
If you're using a smartphone to create PowerPoint presentations, you can easily create a presentation whether you have an Android smartphone, iPhone, or Windows 10 Mobile device at your disposal. Operation of the app is very simple for all three platforms, although there are slight differences between using the Android app and the iPhone app.
After downloading PowerPoint on your smartphone, start the app, press the red button Log in on its home screen and, on the next screen, tap the option Log in, if you have already created a Microsoft account or press the option sign up for free to create a new one for free. Then click on the symbol (+) to add new slides to your presentation and edit the slide by tapping on it and choosing, in the menu that appears, one of the available options: the pencil to insert text; the symbol of scissors to cut the slide; the symbol of two overlapping sheets to copy it; the symbol of folder with sheet to glue it; Delete to remove it from the presentation; Hide, to hide it or Share to share it as an image or presentation.
Finally, when you have finished your work, save the presentation by tapping on the symbol (≡) and selecting the option Save with name from the menu that appears. You can choose whether to save the presentation on your device or elsewhere. I remind you that, if you are logged in with your Microsoft account, the slide is saved on OneDrive completely automatically.
As I mentioned earlier, on the iPhone PowerPoint works in a similar way to Android, only the fact that you start from the single slide view changes and, to go back and forth between the slides, you must use a menu at the bottom. On top of that, it also changes the context menu that opens when you tap a presentation slightly.
If you have installed PowerPoint on an iPhone or iPad, start the app and press the option Log in, if you already have a Microsoft account or, if not, tap the option Create an account to create a new one. If you wish, you can also skip these steps and log in later.
After deciding whether to login or not, create a new presentation by tapping on the option New or click on the option apri to open a previously created one. If you opt for creating a new presentation, tap on the option Blank presentation or use one of the many available templates made available by Microsoft.
On the next screen, press the tab Inserisci to add any element to your presentation (tables, multimedia content, etc.) and, to make it more appealing, add transitions e animations in the slide, 'tapping' on the cards of the same name and choosing the models available in the relative submenus. To add a new slide, however, presses the symbol of blank slide located on the Home tab.
When you have finished creating your PowerPoint presentation, save it by tapping on thesheet icon (top left), pressing the option Export and choosing the format in which you want to export it.
